An Insight into Council Meetings

Members of the Councils meet every three months in virtual sessions and each meeting will typically include

Panels discussing the hottest current topics in retail banking. In 2025, the meeting themes included:

The Digital Touch, The Personal Touch
People, Banking & Technology

The Council Membership includes Concierge Services to make introductions. Members can bring up to eight executives to each meeting. As the meetings are confidential and not recorded, Lafferty Group creates talking points for post-meeting briefings for members which we share with members after the meeting.

Council members also receive a corporate subscription to our Lafferty Daily Briefing, delivered Monday to Thursday with two to four stories about developments of interest in retail banking, cards, and digital payments.

Retail Banking Council Africa is a thought leadership Council, and operates under Chatham House rules. This means:
