Certified International Cards and Payments Professional (CICPP) certification can be attained upon completion of the IARB Foundation Programme, followed by the specialist CICPP Intermediate and Expert programmes. In total, this consists of 25 days of training and three examinations. All training will be delivered by cards and payments and retail banking experts, in many cases the authors of the IARB and CICPP curricula. Each level of training is followed by an exam. After the successful completion of all three levels and passing their respective exams, you will be awarded the CICPP.

Classroom and Non-Classroom learning

IACP incorporates classroom learning with pre and post course study. Before the start of the programme, students will be expected to have studied the pre-course material assigned.  Between the end of the classroom sessions and the administration of each level’s examination, students will be expected to study the course material as well as complete sample examination papers before sitting their examination.

Self-guided study

IACP allows some students to engage in self-study for the foundation and intermediate programme. The student will be provided with pre-reading material, course material and sample examination papers.  Students must complete the set amount of study before sitting the examinations.

Core IACP Certification Exams

Each level of the IACP Certification is awarded upon successful completion of an exam. This
exam is administered at the same location (in most cases) as the training. There will usually be
3-4 weeks between the conclusion of the training segment and the exam.
The exam will consist of multi-choice, short-answer and essay questions. Evaluation of the
exams will be done by the central administration of the IACP.
There is a separate exam fee, which must be paid prior to the exam date in order to be admitted.
